November 2011

November 5, SaturdayNative American Day, at the Savin Rock Conference Center.  Featuring Akta, the Ambassador Wolf, Joseph Firecrow and the Fancy Dancers. 

November 19, Saturday.  Luncheon program at noon in the Common Room at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 28 Church St, West Haven.  Jane Sabatelli, an active member of the Connecticut Civil War Round Table will portray Harriet Beecher Stowe, as part of the first person presentation of
Women in History.

December 2011

December 3 (10:30 am-4 pm) and 4 (10:30 am-3pm), Saturday and Sunday. 
Trees of West Haven.  At St. John Vianney Church Hall, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd.  Start your holiday shopping at our craft booths and take a chance to win one of our decorated trees, wreaths or gift baskets.  Admission is free.  A visit from Santa Saturday between 12 and 2:30 pm!

Christmas Open House.  Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11, 12 noon to 4 pm.  The house will be decorated in period Christmas decor.  Admission is free.


February 2012
"For the Love of Wine", Ward-Heitmann House Museum's Annual Wine Tasting, Friday, February 10, 2012 at West Woods, 85 Chase Lane, West Haven. 6:30-9:30 pm.   Appetizers, soup, sandwiches and dessert with a variety of red and white wines.  Wine provided by Ye Old Liquor Shoppe.  Soup and sandwiches by Francesco's Fabulous Foods.  $35 per person in advance, $40 paid at the door.  Reservations are required.  See reservation form below.
